Entrance to upper Fron Goch quarry from the hill track. The tramway did not use this entrance but entered through a tunnel running directly from the lower Fron Goch quarry. The upper quarry has regrettably been used for rubbish tipping in recent years, and was too overgrown and strewn with tangled metal and briars for us to safely investigate the upper tunnel mouth at the time.
